The city of Fullerton launched an ambitious campaign to be selected as the test city for Google’s ultra high-speed fiber network, promoted as Fiber for Communities. To encourage citizens to go online and vote for Fullerton, (popular support is among Google’s criteria for selection), several videos were made and posted on the city’s YouTube channel. One was removed within 24 hours, as one resident felt it inappropriate. The fifth video features Phyllis Fender, wife of Leo Fender, and long-tiome benefactor to the Fullerton Museum Center.
